बिरनी। रविवार को मवेशी तस्करी के खिलाफ बिरनी पुलिस ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर दो मवेशी लदे ट्रक संख्या जे एच 09 बी डी 9223 पर सवार चालक नन्दे कुमार 21 वर्ष, उपचालक कुन्दन कुमार 20 वर्ष, सरफराज आलम 32 वर्ष, मो शम्स तरवेज 38 वर्ष एवं ट्रक संख्या जेएच 04 एल 9967 पर सवार चालक छोटू यादव 37वर्ष श्रवण यादव 35वर्ष इन्द्रदेव प्रसाद 35वर्ष शैलेन्द्र कुमार 32 वर्ष को बिरनी थाना कांड संo 04/34 दिनांक 07,01,2024 धारा 414/34 भाoवo विo एवं क्रुएली एनिमल एक्ट 1960 एवं झारखंड बोवाइन एनिमल प्रिवेंशन ऑफ स्लेटर एक्ट के तहत प्राथमिक दर्ज कर गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया।
आपको बता दें कि दोनों ट्रक में लगभग 85 मवेशी लोड थे। इसके अलावा पुलिस ने मवेशी तस्करी के आरोप में 10 लोगों को हिरासत में लिया है। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार एसपी दीपक कुमार शर्मा को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि बिरनी के रास्ते ट्रक के माध्यम से तस्करी के लिए मवेशियों को लोड कर बंगाल ले जाया जा रहा है। सूचना के बाद एसपी ने बिरनी थाना प्रभारी को नाकेबंदी कर ट्रक को पकड़ने का निर्देश दिया। इसी के आलोक में थाना प्रभारी मृत्युंजय सिंह ने बिरनी कोवाड़ मार्ग पर नाकेबंदी कर जांच पड़ताल शुरू की।
पड़ताल के दौरान मखमरगो के पास वाहन चेकिंग के दौरान पुलिस ने खदेड़ कर दोनों ट्रकों को पकड़ लिया। जांच में दोनों ट्रक में मवेशियों से भरा पाया गया। पुलिस द्वारा कागजात मांग करने पर नहीं दिखा सका। जिसके बाद ट्रक को जप्त करते हुए। हिरासत में लिए गए दस लोगों को थाना ले आई और आगे की करवाई में जुट गई है।
